What you need to know about the White-beaked Dolphin
White-beaked dolphins are fast, strong swimmers. Although they can be hard to spot, they are also known to be highly active in the ocean, breaching and porpoising frequently. They also enjoy bow-riding cruise ships. They can be found traveling in pods of between 5 and 50, but if you're lucky, you might even come across a pod of thousands.

White-beaked dolphins also like the company of other species of whale and dolphin. They often form mixed schools with the Atlantic white-sided dolphins and bottlenose dolphins when feeding, or travel alongside humpback or fin whales.
