At 26 meters in length, Hans Hansson offers an intimate experience, accommodating up to 12 passengers in cozy, well-appointed cabins that provide all the essential comforts needed for an expedition. Ocean Tramp

The Ocean Tramp isn’t just a boat—it’s your cozy, floating home as you sail to the wilds of Antarctica. Picture this: a 66-foot ketch, rugged yet charming, with a steel hull ready to tackle the fiercest Southern Ocean waves. On deck, the wind fills the sails, propelling you at speeds of up to 8 knots, while the ice-capped mountains and deep-blue waters of the Antarctic unfold around you. Below deck, the Ocean Tramp offers five snug cabins, each with a warm, wood-paneled interior that makes you feel right at home. There’s a communal space where you can swap stories over a hot drink, and a galley that’s always filled with the aroma of something delicious cooking. Balto

M/S Balto is named in honor of the legendary sled dog who led the 1925 Nome serum run, symbolizing endurance and bravery. Originally built in Rauma, Finland, for government service in the Baltic Sea, this remarkable vessel was constructed to the highest ice-class standards. Between 2019 and 2022, M/S Balto underwent a complete refurbishment, transforming her into one of the most spacious and elegant small polar expedition yachts in service today. Onboard M/S Balto, you'll find a relaxed yet luxurious atmosphere with accommodations for just 12 guests across 7 beautifully appointed outside cabins, each featuring private facilities and lower beds. The ship offers a range of cabin types: a stunning 30m² Owner’s cabin with six windows and a queen bed, a Superior cabin with twin beds, three Double cabins with queen beds, and two Single cabins. Both the Owner’s and Superior cabins also boast a cozy seating area. Every cabin is equipped with a desk, a chair, and ample storage space. Guests can unwind in the cedar-lined sauna, complete with a cold shower and a small changing room, or relax in the richly appointed saloon and dining messroom, featuring luxurious crotch-mahogany paneling, a bar, a card table, and a library. Several open and semi-enclosed deck spaces provide perfect vantage points to soak in the breathtaking Arctic scenery. An international crew will warmly welcome you aboard, and the bridge is always open for visits, offering a unique opportunity to engage with the ship’s operations. M/S Balto is powered by an advanced electric diesel propulsion system, ensuring smooth and quiet maneuvering, making it an ideal platform for filming and photography. Sjøveien

The M/S Sjøveien, meaning "Seaway," is a historic expedition ship with a rich legacy and modern comforts. Polartours is proud to introduce this vessel that combines classic maritime elegance with modern expedition capabilities. Built in Bergen in 1964 for the Norwegian government, M/S Sjøveien served as a training ship for mariners and later fulfilling roles for the Norwegian Coast Guard. After extensive refurbishments, she embarked on a new journey in 2017 as an exclusive passenger ship in Svalbard. With her beautiful wooden decks, classic details, and plenty of deck space, M/S Sjøveien offers a unique blend of nostalgia and luxury. The highlight of the deck experience is undoubtedly the wood-fired hot tub, where guests can unwind while taking in the breathtaking Arctic scenery. M/S Sjøveien offers an intimate and personalized Arctic adventure, accommodating just 12 passengers across eight outside cabins, each with en-suite facilities. The lower deck houses four cozy twin cabins with portholes, while the main deck features two larger twin cabins with windows and a superior cabin with a double bed.
