Glattschnabelani

The Smooth-billed Ani (Crotophaga ani) was introduced to St. Helena Island. It is a tropical bird known for its communal nesting habits and distinctive bill shape. Originally from South America, these birds have adapted to St. Helena's environment and are often seen in small flocks foraging for insects and small vertebrates in grassy areas and scrublands.
